I just read your blog and I already love Gavin. His advice is sound and good whether he has kids or not. I, like Gavin, plan to live forever so I better get a better retirement plan :)

I also take protein powder daily and it does help as I too didn't have enough protein even though I eat like a saint. I use OL (Olympic Labs) vanilla pea protein because it has all natural ingredients and is easier for me to digest than products containing whey. A client of mine who is a scientist researched protein powders and said this one was the best. It tastes great, has 25 grams of protein per scoop, and is available on Amazon. I love it and think it is worth checking out.
For what it is worth, I add lots of fresh berries, lucuma powder, flax seed, hemp hearts and cacao nibs (all super foods) almond milk, water and ice.

Let me know what you think

XO

What a sweet little 'biography.' Us valley folks are resilient people (I grew up in Tarzana)!

And the education dilemma is a tough one for valley folks. The local high schools are pretty terrible - Taft, Birmingham, Canoga Park - and the good ones are a hefty commute for folks closer to the 405. I'd probably make a similar decision to Hal. :)
