Coo Coo For LouLoudi

Eye Popping Flowers

Eye Popping Flowers

Talk about a cute meet. During errands around the 90210 I bumped into a Gary Cooper type in shorts and mirror shades carrying a boatload of flowers. “Those for me?” I asked.

Turns out the man in shorts, Michael Mantalos, designed these stunning flowers for a big event down the street at La Tavola, a Napa-based linen rental company.  A line of women kept stopping by like bees to honey to admire the flowers. In between the compliments from the ladies, Michael removed his shades and posed for pictures like a pro. We played BH geography and I learned that he grew up visiting his grandparents in BH, going on rides at Kiddy Land and trotting around on the Pony Rides until the Beverly Center replaced all that.

Now Michael helps brides create their dream day weddings through his company LouLoudi, which is Greek for flowers. Most of his work is around town, but he also travels all over the world for events. And may I just say? The world is a much prettier place because of it.
